Our Story
Founded to Serve Those Who Served
Ole Glory Warriors Retreat, Inc is a veteran owned non-profit organization that was founded in March 2021 by David Lighten Jr. He has dedicated his life to serving others with unwavering commitment and passion. A veteran of the Persian Gulf War and a disabled Gulf War Veteran, he joined the US Navy after high school and served until his retirement in October 1996, completing numerous tours in the Persian Gulf. Understanding the profound challenges faced by veterans, David continued his service as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer with the Department of Homeland Security for 25 years.
Located in Jonesboro, Georgia and serving the greater Metro Atlanta area, this nurturing environment helps foster rejuvenation of the mind, spirit and soul playing a pivotal role in the holistic healing process and mental health support for our nation's heroes.
